- Opposite sides of a rectangle are congruent
- Opposite angles of a rectangle are congruent
- Consecutive angles of a rectangle are supplementary
- The diagonals of a rectangle bisect each other

Parallelogram:
Definition:
A four sided flat plane with straight sides where opposite sides are parallel and equal.
Properties:
- Opposite sides of a parallelogram are congruent .
- Opposite angles of a parallelogram are congruent
- Consecutive angles of a parallelogram are supplementary.
- If one angle of a parallelogram is right angle, then all angles are right.
- The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
- Each diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles.
Rhombus:
Definition:
A four sided flat shape with straight sides where all sides have equal length and also opposite sides are parallel.
It is a type of parallelogram
Properties:
- All sides of a rhombus are equal
- The opposite sides of a rhombus are equal
- Two pairs of opposite sides are equal and congruent
- Opposite angles of a rhombus are congruent
- The diagonals of a rhombus bisect each other at 90
- The consecutive angles of a rhombus are supplementary
